I'm looking for a student (Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral level) to take over my lease starting on August 6th or 7th. This move-in date is non-negotiable, so please only get in touch if you're available from then.

The room is located in Zurich-Schwamendingen, just a 1-minute walk from Schwamendingerplatz, yet it remains very quiet. Tram 9 takes you to ETH Zentrum in 15 minutes, and Irchel is just 5 minutes away. Grocery stores like Coop, Denner, and Migros are all within a 1-2 minute walking distance.

The monthly rent is CHF 1004, which includes all utilities at a fixed rate (Internet, Heating, Electricity, Water). There are no additional costs at the end of the year.

The room is fully furnished with a bed, closet, table, desk, and 2 chairs.

It's located slightly below ground level but has many windows and lots of natural light. The building dates back to the 1910s, but is very well insulated. You have your own kitchen (with oven, fridge with freezer) and bathroom, and will share the washing machine and dryer with the landlord.

Only students may apply (Bachelor, Master, or PhD)
No musical instruments or pets are allowed

If you choose to apply after the visit, you'll need to provide the following documents in English or German: (please make sure you have these ready so that you can immediately apply)

Proof of enrollment
Proof of income or a letter from someone who financially supports you
Valid ID and, if applicable, a residence permit
Betreibungsregisterauszug (Swiss debt collection record)

Optional but appreciated (also in either English or German):

Reference letters (even from abroad)
A short motivation letter
